Tisryanche Sukke I Goan Clams Sukhe Recipe I Tisreo l ​⁠​⁠​⁠​⁠‪@GoanSpiceHouse‬ Goan cuisine is famous for its seafood delicacies all over the world. Above all shellfish hold a special place in Goan cuisine. Tisreo or clams are one of the shellfish that are served in a fish thali. A seafood thali in Goa usually has a spoonful of this dry clam’s masala or sukke. Many clam dishes are prepared in Goan cuisine that are really delectable. Tisryache Tonak, Dangar (cutlets of tisreo), Tisryache Sukke etc. Tisryache Sukke or Tisreo Sukhem is one such popular dish. It can be prepared using fresh or frozen clams. INGRIDENTS Clams – 1 cup Cooking Oil – 3 Tbsp. Crushed Garlic -1 tsp. Roughly chopped green chilies – 2 Chopped big-size onion – 2 Chopped medium size tomatoes – 2 Fresh coriander leaves Turmeric powder – ½ tsp. Red chili powder – 1 tsp. Kashmiri red chili powder – ½ tsp. Dry coriander powder – 1 tsp. Homemade garam masala powder – 1 tsp. Kokum – 2 to 3 Freshly grated coconut – 1 cup Water as per requirement Salt as per the test Method: Heat oil in a pan add 1 tbsp crushed garlic and green chillies saute till the raw smell of garlic goes. Add chopped fresh coriander leaves. Now add chopped onion and saute till transcalent, add chopped tomatoes, and saute till it becomes soft. Now add clams, and mix them well. Add all dry masalas (mention in the ingredients) add kokum and mix it well. Cover and cook for 10 minutes. Add freshly grated coconuts and again mix them well. Add some water, and salt as per taste. Give a final stir and cook for 2 minutes on low flame. Add chopped fresh coriander leaves. Goan Tisryache Sukhee is ready to Serve. Serve it with hot steamed Rice, Chapati, Pole, Pav, or Bread.
