Today while running some eras in Telford, we decided to have a look at a secret canal in Coalport. The remains of an long lost tub canal network that made Telford what it is today. Most of the canal network around Telford has been built over now, but here in Coalport remains a hidden gem, with its grand Hay inclined plane and the beautiful China museum on the bank of the River Severn.
