Taralli are a delicious Italian snack that we've enjoyed making and eating for years. In this video we will show you step by step instructions on how to make these yummy treats. RECIPE: 8 Cups All Purpose Flour 2 Eggs 1/2 Cup Olive Oil 1/2 Cup Vegetable Oil 1 1/2 tsp Salt 1/2 tsp Anise Seeds 1 tsp Instant Yeast 1 1/2 to 2 Cups Luke Warm Water Start off by adding the salt, instant yeast and anise seeds to your flour. Mix well. Create a well and add in eggs and olive oil. Slowly add water, half a cup at a time and knead your dough, you may not need the entire 2 cups of water (1 1/2 is usually enough). Knead dough until everything comes together and you get a nice smooth and firm ball of dough. Cover and let stand for 20 minutes. Roll and form dough into thin ropes and make circles out of the ropes (see thumbnail image). In a large pot, fill water and let it come to a light boil. Place Taralli in the boiling water and wait a minute or so before removing or until taralli rise to the top. Remove from water and repeat with the others. Place taralli onto a baking sheet and bake at 375 - 380 for 20 minutes or until golden brown. Enjoy
