Tango Magazine n. 96 - La Muñeca

On 4 July 2015 Raffaele Rufo was interviewed by Raffaella Catinelli of Tango Magazine just before the first performance of his tango and body art show "La Muñeca | The Tango Doll". In this video, Rufo tries to give an overview of what led me to take this angle on "Argentine Tango" and on the main principles of my work. I believe that the Tango was born and developed out of "creative tensions" - between different music genres and styles, cultures, social groups, art-forms, etc. - and that, in order to keep it alive, it is important to keep the experimentation going - bearing always in mind the roots from which we stem and working hard on the fundamentals of the dance.
