Ram already makes this engine and it has invested in the research and development so why not put it in the ram 1500. it will bolt directly to the ZF 8 speed transmission which is a bulletproof unit. I think its a cheap option for ram to offer but could bring in more sales and most importantly right now bring some better views and interest back to the RAM truck brand. Now I talk about which of the two 6.4L hemi engines Ram would most likely bring back because there is the detuned truck version and the car version pushing almost 500 hp but in my opinion the truck version of the 6.4L Hemi is most likely and probably rhe cheapest option for RAM. but I would not be surprised to see RAM push more power of the 6.4L hemi in the RAM 1500 trucks. there is rumours of the 5.7L Hemi also getting some updates when it comes back into the ram 1500 line-up potentially a new generation of of the 5.7L hemi also packing more power - who knows but what is almost certain is the V8 engines are coming back to the Ram truck line up.
