Second game of the series with the Dodgers. After a tough game yesterday where we managed only four hits through eight innings, we managed to string together three doubles and a two run homerun in the top of the ninth and were able to secure a win. Also have to thank the CPU for a baserunning blunder in the bottom of the ninth, where it got a runner thrown out trying to go to third on a shallow hit to left field with only one out. Now maybe if I was down a run I may have tried the same thing, but not down by two, where only the tying run comes to the plate instead of the winning run. It was released for the SNES in 1994, and while it has the MLB license, it did not have a players association (MLBPA) license. What this means is it features actual team names, logos and stadiums, it did not have real player names. Of course, you can figure out which player one is, based on their jersey number and stats from the 1993 season. Gameplay is fast paced, and very similar to the arcade versions of both Baseball Stars games. While it takes some practice to get used to, its not overly complex to play like the MLB: The Show games of today. If you get a chance to play, I highly recommend it.
