Today we play the third and final game of our three game series with the Dodgers. We managed to put up six runs yesterday without anyone hitting a homerun. Sometimes small ball is good, moving everyone ninety feet at a time rather than going for the big hit all the time. I must thank the CPU again for a horrible defensive play. The third baseman grabbed the short infield hit, and rather than run it to third himself, he waited for the pitcher to cover before throwing, allowing my runner to beat the throw thus loading the bases. Can't say for certain how things would have played out if he made the play, but I'll use any mistakes to my advantage. Game 58 of 162 At Los Angeles, game 3 of 3 For anyone who has never played the game, here are a few quick details. It was released for the SNES in 1994, and while it has the MLB license, it did not have a players association (MLBPA) license. What this means is it features actual team names, logos and stadiums, it did not have real player names. Of course, you can figure out which player one is, based on their jersey number and stats from the 1993 season. Gameplay is fast paced, and very similar to the arcade versions of both Baseball Stars games. While it takes some practice to get used to, its not overly complex to play like the MLB: The Show games of today. If you get a chance to play, I highly recommend it.
