#abandoned #urbex Today, we're exploring an abandoned school. Built in 1929, it originally was an elementary school. It served the community well over the years. Due to declining population, the school closed in 2005. It briefly re-opened as an academy until that closed in 2011. It has been abandoned ever since. This was a fun one to explore. The decay combined with everything left behind made this a rather unique explore. it's not often a building sits like this for a long period of time untouched. Unfortunately however, the school suffered a fire in the basement level, which damaged that floor and smoke crept up to the upper levels. There is no word on the fate of this property.Thanks for watching!
