Rose Lepin - Representing body positivity - Vision of Representation

Rose is the first-ever guest on Vision of Representation. Her energy is contagious, and she truly embodies the inspirational image of positivity. In this episode, she discusses her dreams of becoming a journalist, and what it means to come out at 15 years old. Writing her blog Map of Madness has empowered her to share various stories about herself and interact with her community about what she is passionate about. She also discusses in her interviews how it was like to grow up homeschooled with a twin, and how it was like to lose their house to a fire. Her fun and bubbly personality were recognized in her successful early pageant career. She won Miss Teen Greater Vancouver and placed in the top 6 at Miss Teen Canada 2020. Rose inspires others by representing herself and sharing her story. She will go on and make great things now and in the future. Vision of Representation is the new documentary series that I have created in order to tell people's stories. I believe that sharing stories helps others understand and become more informed, which allows for growth and less judgment. This series strives to share diverse stories of hardship, accomplishment, and positivity. This platform is used to elevate the voices of all kinds so that different opinions and stories may be highlighted.
