3 Exercises for Tech Neck Pain

Today's video covers exercises for tech neck pain, which is associated with the neck posture that occurs when people look down at their device (tablet, phone or computer) for long periods. The exercises is this video are designed to counteract the positional stresses associated with the tech neck posture and reduce pain. Tech neck is also called forward head posture in the phyical therapy world and describes a position where the head translates forward on the trunk creating extension of the upper neck and flexion of the lower neck. Forward head is not really a concern in of itself (although many on social media would lead you to believe otherwise) as the mechanical stress associated with this position is very manageable for the structures of the cervical spine. However, when the neck in held in this position for long periods, some people can develop a bit of sensitivity.
