After years filming Turbo on the streets of Manchester and all the MADD moments, the chaos, the benders. Today, I finally got to document something completely different. A new man. A sober man. A man fighting for his life back. Turbo is now 6 months clean, the longest he’s been sober in nearly three decades. He’s living in Blackburn, far away from the triggers of Piccadilly Gardens. He’s got his own place, decorated it, made it a home. He’s rebuilding relationships with his kids and his family. For the first time, he’s choosing peace, routine, and recovery. On Sunday, Turbo is running the Blackburn 10K, raising money for a local homeless charity, a cause close to his heart after living the realities of addiction and homelessness for so many years. In this interview,, Turbo opens up and tells his reason for wanting to complete the Blackburn 10k He speaks on: – Life away from Manchester – Becoming a father again – Christmas sober for the first time in decades – What finally pushed him to start recovery – What keeps him clean – What he wants for his future This isn’t the Turbo many people think they know. This is Anthony; a man fighting back. I’m proud of him. Proper proud. And I’m honoured to document this part of his journey and new version. If you’ve followed his story for years, watch this. If you care about recovery, hope, and belive in second chances. Please like and share If Possible please doante a small amount Well Done Lad
