This somatic healing practice supports nervous system regulation, trauma recovery, and restoring safety in the body. This practice is trauma-informed and grounded in body-based healing. This short somatic practice is an invitation to gently meet grief and sadness in the body—without rushing, fixing, or explaining them away. After a loss, it makes sense to feel sad. Sadness is not something to overcome—it’s a natural response to what mattered. In this practice, you’ll be guided to: Use self-contact for grounding and support Allow breath and optional sound (sighs, hums, or gentle vocal release) Let emotion move at its own pace Meet grief with compassion rather than pressure There’s no right way to experience this practice.
