Curro Brackenfell Half Marathon 2023

Curro Brackenfell Half Marathon was very different form of welcoming with freezing 5 degrees ❄️ and⛰️ and more ⛰️and even more ⛰️🤣! It was a very enjoyable route still showcasing all the best real estates and sunrise of Brackenfell and also the nearby farmlands that added a little touch of trail running feel. Although cold, but it was just perfecf temperature once we got started🏃 and luckily there was no wind or rain🙏 It was an awesome training run for me towards SCTM. So I was only targeting sub 2. However, somehow got sucked into the sub 1:45 🚌 by Tavon Petersen and Youssef 🤣 Hanged on until 8km where there was this HUGE LONG climb and I wasn't up for it so I dropped off😅😂 Before that also run a bit with legend Greg Snow. 2nd half ran with Kevin Peters and wow everyone ran so fast and well that made me feel that age is really just a number 😅👏 I did my usual thing, ran, got lazy a bit, took pics and videos and JUMPED😁🤣 Finished 1:50. Happy with the training run🙏 Thank you for Brackenfell Athletic Club, marshals, officials, officers and supporters for a very well organised race! It was a very enjoyable run❤️👏 For the ❤️ of 🏃!
