SIEM REAP Cambodia Travel Vlog 🇰🇭 Angkor Wat Temples & NYE Pub Street Siem Reap

As I'm back working full time in Bangkok, I don't have too much time to travel so I had to take advantage of my 5 day New Year's vacation! I decided to head to Cambodia for the first time ever - so this is my one and only (for now 😢) Cambodia Travel Vlog! Angkor Wat is a bucket list place to visit as it's the largest temple in the whole world! We started the day getting a tuktuk to the Angkor Park Pass Ticket Counters which are about a 15 minute drive from the center of Siem Reap. After buying one day tickets for $37 USD each, it was a further 15 minute drive to the entrance to Angkor Wat temple. We explored all around Angkor Wat including the Bakan Viewpoint! While the stairs to the viewpoint were very steep and the wait to get down was long, it had amazing views from the highest point of the temple! We left Angkor Wat from the East Entrance which was SO much quieter than the West Entrance! Luckily there were lots of tuktuks at Angkor Wat East Entrance so we didn't have an issue finding more transportation. We were planning on just getting individual tuktuks between each temple, however the driver explained it's much cheaper to have one driver take you to each place and wait for you (as it was too spread out to walk). The next temple he took us to was Ta Prohm Temple (aka the Tomb Raider Temple). It was my favorite temple of the day as it had trees all over the ruins! We also saw the famous tree that's shown in the Tomb Raider movie. The next stop was Ta Keo Temple. Ta Keo had TONS of stairs that were really steep to get up to the top! I was literally crawling up/down some of them. The last temple we stopped at was Bayon Temple - another huge temple complex within Angkor. After that the tuktuk driver took us back to our hotel in Siem Reap where we watched the sunset on the roof of our hotel (https://www.agoda.com/partners/partne.... We then stopped by The Christa Restaurant in Siem Reap to try some Cambodian food. We got Khmer vegetable noodle soup and chicken amok. Next we headed out for an amazing New Year's Eve celebration of Siem Reap's Pub Street! We had no idea Pub Street would be sooo busy as almost everywhere was completely reserved for NYE!
