In this Vietnam Travel Vlog, I made it to Hue in Central Vietnam. Hue was the capital of Vietnam for almost 150 years during the Nguyen Dynasty from 1802 to 1945. When I first arrived in Hue off the overnight bus from Sapa, I was immediately bombarded with men trying to sell me tours around Hue. It was slightly overwhelming and not a good start to exploring the city. However, the following two days were great! I started by walking along the riverside park to the Citadel which is home to the famous Imperial Palace in Hue. After exploring the citadel and imperial palace, I jumped on a grab bike to the Thien Mu Pagoda. I thought you were able to go up the pagoda, however when I arrived it was closed. It was still nice to explore the grounds and see the view over the river. After the pagoda I took a boat ride down the Perfume River in Hue back towards my hotel. I then HAD to try the famous Bun Bo Hue, but luckily I found a vegetarian option at Madam Thu. It was soo good!! I love that Vietnam has SO any vegetarian food options! The following day I wanted to visit the three main tombs in Hue: Khai Dinh Tomb, Minh Mang Tomb, and Tu Duc Tomb. I was planning on taking grab bikes to each of them, however my first grab bike driver was amazing and offered to wait for me outside each tomb then take me to the next one! I was able to explore all 3 tombs really easily because of him! When we left Tu Duc Tomb we drove through the famous Hue incense village. I was shocked at how many different incense stores there were! When we arrived back in Hue, I told him he could drop me off anywhere in the center, but he wanted me to see the An Dinh Residence as well! I had never heard of it, but I'm glad he took me as it was a gorgeous building that belonged to Emperor Khai Dinh! After exploring there I walked back to my hotel, bought a ticket from my hotel for the sightseeing bus from Hue to Hoi An, and headed out to the Hue walking street for another delicious Vietnamese food dinner. Even though my start to Hue wasn't the best, I ended up really enjoying the city!! --------------------------------------- 📧 BUSINESS INQUIRIES: [email protected] SUPPORT THE CHANNEL: 🥰Memberships: / @nataliespassport (make sure to hit the 🔔 notification bell 🔔 ) 🥰Buy Us a Coffee: https://www.buymeacoffee.com/natalies... 🥰Direct Donation: paypal.me/nataliehoffman22 FOLLOW OUR SOCIALS: 📸 Instagram: / nataliespassport ⭐ Facebook: / nataliespassport ✨ TikTok: / nataliespassport 👩💻 Blog: https://nomadlifeforme.com/ AFFILIATES: 🛒 My Favorite Travel Products: https://www.amazon.com/shop/nataliesp... 🦠 Genki Travel Insurance: https://genki.world/with/537 🎶 Music (30 days free): https://share.epidemicsound.com/ifx54o --------------------------------------- 00:01 Intro 00:38 Avoiding Scams in Hue 01:14 Riverside Park Hue 02:26 Hue Citadel Entrance 02:38 Hue Citadel Tickets 03:14 Map of Imperial City Hue 04:29 Imperial City Palace 05:43 Vietnamese Students 06:43 Motorbike Through Hue 07:35 Thien Mu Pagoda 08:46 Boat Ride of Perfume River 11:04 Crossing the Street in Vietnam 11:19 Vegetarian Vietnamese Food 12:12 Trying Bun Bo Hue 12:56 Vietnamese Hacky Sack Game 13:34 Biking to the Hue Temples 14:29 Khai Dinh Tomb 15:37 Inside Khai Dinh Tomb 16:10 Motorbike Through Hue 16:33 Minh Mang Tomb 19:08 Motorbike Through Hue 19:22 Tu Duc Tomb 20:36 Hue Incense Village 21:37 An Dinh Residence 23:04 Tickets for Scenic Bus From Hue to Hoi An 23:45 Hue Walking Street #hue #vietnam #imperialpalace #solotravel
