Gear Re-Review: Hybridlight headlamp (2018) - Always Ants

Join me as I take in a nice vista of the American River in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountains in eastern California in February 2026 to hear my "re-review" of the Hybridlight Headlamp, which I purchased and reviewed for you in 2018. Now eight years later, is it still a decent product? Did it survive my adventures and misuse? Yes, it did! This is one of the few pieces of outdoor equipment I still have and use that survived eight years in the outdoors. From weeklong wilderness walkabouts to caving, camping, and car travel, this lightweight, solar rechargable headlamp has been a light in my darkness for nearly a decade and with basically no problems. For once, I would in fact recommend this piece of gear, at least, as long as it's still built the same or better, and priced at least similarly to the $25 I paid in-store.
