Flux Core Gas Dual Shield Welding...Why?

Flux core gas shielded welding wire also called dual shield is a flux core wire that is used with gas. The wire runs hot and penetrates deep and can get similar results as stick welding with 7018. It is said to be stick weld quality and mig gun easy. or just 7018 on a spool. I just found out about this and was excited to try it out. My non-critical structural welds were always ugly with my arc stick welder. My solid core mig welds look good but I worried about their strength and penetration. This dual shield might be the answer I was looking for. Thanks for watching and let us know in the comments your experience with this. Will it work for my non critical structural welds or do you think I should just practice stick welding more.
