Kelly Dever is an officer with the Boston Police Department. She previously was an officer with the Canton Police Department. She testified in Karen Read's re-trial today (Monday, June 2, day 25) about being on patrol on Jan. 29, 2022, and being at the Canton Police Department headquarters when Read's Lexus SUV was there. Dever initially said she saw ATF agent Brian Higgins and Canton Police Chief Ken Berkowitz spending a "wildly" long amount of time with Read's SUV, but she now says she knows she was mistaken. 07:40 "It meant I walked down and I sat down in a dispatch room." 11:30 "I have no relation to this case." Prosecutors say Read was drunk when she struck her boyfriend, Boston Police Department Officer John O'Keefe, with her SUV outside Boston Police Department Detective Brian Albert's home early on Jan. 29, 2022, and drove away.
