Though his enthusiasm is great, his attention to detail is sadly lacking, most notably in that he forgets to wash and blanch the ingredients before he cans them. Then ensuing dinner-party is, therefore, a total disaster, with exploding cans of rotten vegetables everywhere, so all four retire to Badger’s for a more humble, but fresh, ham salad.
