MOZART - SONATA K 332 (no 12), ADAGIO - SYNTONIC SQUIGGLE - CLAVICHORD

We present the Adagio form Mozart's Sonata K332, no. 12, played at the clavichord (midi rendition, soundfont is Clavichord Spar from Univer.se). Tuning is derived from Lehman's Squiggle well temperament, featuring - in an analogous fashion - five 6-th comma fifths (from F to E), three 12-th comma fifths (from C# to A#) as well as three pure fifths (from E to C#). However, in this case, the syntonic comma (21.51¢ = four 5ths - one major 3rd - two octaves) has been used instead of the pythagorean comma (23.46¢ = twelve 5ths - seven octaves). The remaining fifth has been gauged to close the 12-tone circle of fifths, and results in being slightly flat of pure (701.8¢).
