The South Wall at La Jolla Shores, San Diego, California

This a fun dive with a long surface swim to the deep area off the Marine Room. The dive ends at a dramatic vertical wall. See my other videos to see how to start at that point. Max depth: 100' Average: 52' Dive Length: 63 min Min Temp: 56F Some things to consider: This is a long deep advanced dive and as with all dives you really need to keep an eye on air consumption and NDL. You'll might be riding pretty close to the NDL limit. Ideally you'll use a 100CF and have excellent air consumption. Make sure to turn around with plenty of gas remaining so you can swim back underwater. Unless you're and extremely experienced diver, I'd recommend you do this with someone that's done it before. Check out some local clubs to meet people that'll show you around. Check out divebums.com for more info on this and other dives. Here's the dive slate for the site used in the video. Local shops have them too. https://www.amazon.com/Jolla-Shores-S... I am not an expert or a dive professional. I don't know all the hazards that exist for a particular dive. I create these videos for informational purposes only and you should not use them your sole source of information on this subject. Some of my information may be incorrect. Conditions can change from hour to hour and whats safe at the beginning of your dive may be hazardous when you finish. Talk to lifeguards, use other resources and most importantly, dive within your level of training and your skills/abilities. Just because a dive looks easy doesn't mean it is, or that its even safe. People have lost their lives diving here so make sure diving within your limits. 0:00 Dive Overview 2:12 Start Of Dive 9:25 Surface
