While our Poultry Farm Construction remains ongoing, we decided to proceed in stocking the first Pen House with 10,500 ISA Brown Chickens / Layers. We stocked at 14 weeks due to construction delays. Our preferred stocking age is at 12 weeks. However transfer to layer house is usually recommended at 16 to 17 weeks of age, which is the pre-laying phase. By us stocking at 12 weeks this allows the flocks to acclimatize with the new environment.
