Principalities The Master or Principal of The Spirit World.

If we eliminate the Principal from the Principles, we will end up departing from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits and doctrines, teaching, or principles of demons. This is where we get what the Bible calls demonic principalities. 1. Principalities, The Master Spirits Ephesians 6:12 These Principalities are Master Spirits that operates in the realm of deception. Their master is, of course, Lucifer, who is known as the devil. The devil’s deception. Revelation 12:9 We need a clear understanding of their master, Lucifer and the devil, who are the same, and how they operate. They are The Master Principal over the Principalities which we wrestle against. Who is Lucifer? The word devil is the title for Lucifer. Ezekiel 28:12 It is utmost importance for us to realize that even though the Scriptures addressing a flesh and blood king (the king of Tyrus), it is the Principality of the devil that is operating and pulling the strings. The First time the word of God came to Ezekiel, he acknowledges that the Prince of Tyrus was yet a man. The Second time the word of God came to Ezekiel, he referred to the King of Tyrus was speaking of the Principality of the devil. Ezekiel 28:13-14 it gives us some insight to what happened to Lucifer. 2. What Happened to Lucifer? Ezekiel 28:15 Lucifer was created perfect, until iniquity was found in him. The word iniquity carries the connation of that which is bent, twisted, or turned to do wrong. V17, defines that iniquity was found in Lucifer. Iniquity caused Lucifer to bend, twisted, and turned to do wrong because God did not create Lucifer like that. So, what happened to Lucifer? Ezekiel 28:17 The iniquity that was found in Lucifer was his pride. “Thine heart was lift up” this describes pride. “Thou has corrupted thy wisdom.” It further tells us how this was done, “by reason of thy brightness.” Again, the Word of God is speaking of pride. Remember, the name Lucifer means Light Bearer. The Scripture states that it was by, “reason of thy brightness” that God cast Lucifer down to the ground. It was Lucifer who pulling the strings in the Prince of Tyrus’ life. The devil caused the Prince of Tyrus to do the same thing to get into pride and to think above himself, and it’s pride that the devil also snares us. Ezekiel 28:2 We wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against Principalities. Principalities operates and function in the realm of deception motivated by the devil’s pride. The Devil is the Principal, the head, and the chief of these Principalities. Like, the principal of a school would be considered as the master teacher over the teachers at the school, so it is with the devil. Out of the Principal come the principles or doctrine of demons. Notice again what God did to “the anointed cherub that covereth” because of his pride. God, cast Lucifer down to the ground! Isaiah 14:12 Basically, Ezekiel and Isaiah recorded the same phrase. I will cast thee to the ground” and how art thou cut down to the ground. Isaiah disclosed why God had cut Lucifer to the ground. Isaiah 14:13-14 Here we have “Pride” pride, pride! Here we have five “I will” of Lucifer, the devil. It was because of his pride that he was, as the Scriptures say, “Cut down to the ground” and God said, “I will cast thee to the ground.” It was here Lucifer, the Light Bearer and the son of the Morning, became the devil, which means the chief opponent of God. Whom, when Lucifer was cast down to the ground, became Satan (in the form of a serpent), which means “the adversary.” It is here that we are introduced to the serpent, which the scriptures describe as subtle.
