My Dearest is a song that means a ton to me and covering it has been a huge challenge but also so incredibly rewarding. I did a guitar cover of this song back in 2017 and put in the most work I'd put into a cover since starting my channel, and was really proud of my work at the time, but always wished that it could be a vocal cover to bring the lyrics I wrote to life. I started re-mixing and re-arranging my old cover to turn it into an instrumental ready for vocals last year and was determined to make this track my best mix ever. Fast-forward to this year and I finally felt like I was able to bring it up the standard of quality I wanted, and I decided to ask fome to sing on it, who graciously agreed. His vocals absolutely gave this song new life and I am incredibly happy I was able to work with him as I've been a fan of his band, Phoenix Ash, since 2015! I absolutely love how this remake cover turned out and I hope you all love it as much as I do.
