A must try Degi Yakhni Pulao recipe with a new twist to the standard pulao that we all know. #HappyCookingToYou #FoodFusion #MehranSpices Written Recipe: https://bit.ly/37DB1M0 Visit Our Website: https://www.foodfusion.com Download iOS & Android app: https://www.foodfusion.com/app Facebook: / foodfusionpk Instagram: / foodfusionpk Twitter: / foodfusionpk Also follow @HealthyFoodFusion & @FoodFusionKids for healthy food & kid's special recipes. 00:00 Degi Yakhni Pulao 00:17 Prepare Pulao 03:33 Aray waah Serves 4-6 Recipe in English: Ingredients: -Beef mix boti 750g -Water 4-5 Cups -Boiling water as required -Namak (Salt) 1 & ½ tsp or to taste -Chawal (Rice) Basmati ½ kg (soaked 30 minutes) -Ghee (Clarified butter) ½ Cup -Zeera (Cumin seeds) 1 & ½ tsp -Badi elaichi (Black cardamom) 2 -Hari elaichi (Green cardamom) 2-3 -Sabut kali mirch (Black peppercorns) ½ tsp -Laung (Cloves) 3-4 -Badiyan ka phool (Star anise) 2 -Darchini (Cinnamon sticks) 2 -Adrak lehsan paste (Ginger garlic paste) 1 & ½ tbs -Hari mirch (Green chilli) crushed ½ tbs -Pyaz (Onion) fried ½ Cup -Tamatar (Tomatoes) sliced 2 medium -Dahi (Yogurt) thick & whisked 1 Cup -Namak (Salt) 1 tsp or to taste -Haldi powder (Turmeric powder) ¼ tsp -Lal mirch (Red chilli) crushed ½ tbs -Saunf (Fennel seeds) crushed ½ tbs -Sabut dhania (Coriander seeds) crushed ½ tbs -Garam masala powder 1 tsp -Javitri powder (Mace powder) ¼ tsp -Jaifil powder (Nutmeg powder) ¼ tsp -Hari mirch (Green chillies) 4-5 -Aloo bukhara (Dried plums) 5-6 -Hara dhania (Fresh coriander) chopped handful -Pyaz (Onion) Fried -Hari mirch (Green chillies) slit 3-4 -Hara dhania (Fresh coriander) chopped Directions: -In a pot,add beef mix boti,water,mix well & bring it to boil. -Remove scum,cover & cook on medium flame until meat is tender (30-35 minutes),cook until reduced to 1 & ½ cup of stock & set aside. -In boiling water,salt & mix well. -Add soaked rice,mix well & boil until 3/4th done then strain & set aside. -In a pot,add clarified butter & let it melt. -Add cumin seeds,black cardamom,green cardamom,black peppercorns,cloves,star anise,cinnamon sticks & mix well. -Add ginger garlic paste,green chilli crushed,mix well & cook on medium flame for a minute. -Add fried onion,tomatoes,mix well & cook until tomatoes are soft. -On low flame,add yogurt & mix well. -Add salt,turmeric powder,red chilli crushed,fennel seeds,coriander seeds,garam masala powder,mace powder,nutmeg powder,mix well & cook until oil separates (2-3 minutes). -Now add cooked beef with stock,mix well and bring it to boil,cover & cook on medium flame for 8-10 minutes (cook until reduced to ½ Cup). -Add green chillies,dried plums,fresh coriander,boiled rice,fried onion,green chillies and fresh coriander, cover & cook on medium flame for 2-3 minutes then steam cook on low flame for 8-10 minutes then mix well. -Garnish with fried onion & serve! Recipe in Urdu: Directions: -Pot mein beef mix boti aur pani dal ker mix karein aur ubal anay dein. -Scum ko remove ker lein aur dhak ker darmiyani ancch per gosht gul janay tak paka lein (30-35 minutes) (1 & ½ cup stock reh janay tak paka lein) & side per rakh dein. -Boiling water mein namak dal ker ache tarhan mix karein. -Soaked chawal dal ker acha tarhan mix karein aur 3/4th done hunay tak boil ker lein phir strain ker ka side per rakh dein. -Pot mein ghee dal ker melt karein. -Zeera,badi elacihi,hari elaichi,sabut kali mirch,laung,badiyan ka phool aur darchini dal ker ache tarhan mix ker lein. -Adrak lehsan paste aur hari mirch crushed dal ker ache tarhan mix karein aur darmiyani ancch per ek minute kliya paka lein. -Fried pyaz aur tamatar dal ker ache tarhan mix karein aur tamatar naram ho janay tak paka lein. -Halki ancch per dahi dal ker ache tarhan mix ker lein. -Namak,haldi powder,lal mirch crushed,saunf,sabut dhania,garam masala powder,javitri powder aur jaifil powder dal ker ache tarhan mix karein aur oil alag ho janay tak paka lein (2-3 minutes). -Ab cooked beef stock ka saath dal ker ache tarhan mix karein aur ubal anay ka bad dhak dein aur darmiyani ancch per 8-10 minutes kliya paka lein (1/2 cup reh janay tak paka lein). -Hari mirchein,aloo bhukhara,hara dhania,boiled chawal,fried pyaz,hari mirchein aur hara dhania dal ker dhak dein aur darmiyani ancch per 2-3 minutes kliya paka lein phir halki ancch per 8-10 minutes kliya steam cook ker lein aur ache tarhan mix ker lein. -Fried pyaz sa garnish ker ka serve karein!
