Eden's Edge Doom Mode ALL! Clear - Formation 【エデンズエッジ】

We now come to the world of x.x's games, and we'll start off in it by going into Eden's Edge Doom Mode! =D Eden's Edge is a game developed by x.x, and it's a pretty fun game, I'd say! It is actually the prequel to Eden's Aegis, in-fact! I'm actually not sure if there's a story in the game, so I can't really say much about that. Alright, so, more on Eden's Edge... Doom Mode is the hardest difficulty in the game, and whew, man, it's so much harder than Hell Mode! It certainly meant it's name, that's for sure! There are 4 modes of difficulty in this game: Heaven, Original, Hell, and Doom Mode. Doom Mode's a hidden difficulty that you can select if you go down one after Hell Mode on the screen, where you select what difficulty you want to play on (I think you have to 1cc Hell Mode first before you can unlock Doom Mode and select it like that, but I'm not sure). Doom Mode is basically Hell Mode, except that all the bullets are now, more-or-less, twice as fast, and while you must No Miss the whole game in Hell Mode to be able to face the TLB, in Doom Mode, you face him, no matter what, if you make it up to that point in Doom Mode. There are 2 shot-types you can pick in the game, trace and formation. I picked formation, since I like to use wide shot. You start off the game with 3 lives and 3 bombs. The 1st extend you'll get at 4 million, and the 2nd extend you get at 10 million. There is 1 extra extend that you can get, and it'll be at the stage 3 midboss. The catch with him, though, is that you must destroy all of its parts first before destroying the midboss itself to be able to get it. You do have autobombs in the game (Though, you can turn it off in the settings, if you want to do that, but you'd want autobombs, particularly for Doom Mode). Also, a little bit about scoring in the game, let's see here... There's a medal chaining mechanic, where if you collect medals before the chain bar timer runs out (And it runs out quickly), you'll start to build up the chain. The bigger the chain, the more points you'll get. When you kill enemies, most of them will drop a triforce-looking medal. You want to collect those as often as you can. Also, a few of the bigger enemies, as well as the midbosses and bosses, when you kill them, they can cancel out all the bullets in the screen, and turn them into medals that you auto-collect. This is key to getting some big chains. Also, if you happen to have spare lives at the very end of the game, you get extra points for that (7-something million per spare life, I believe). Also, yeah, Jaimers was not kidding, when he said you'd want all of your resources for stage 5. Yeah, you do want to have as much resources as possible for stage 5, particularly for the TLB. A few of the TLB's attacks are really tough, and it'll eat a good amount of resources from you. As for the run, well, it's my 1st ever ALL! Clear of Eden's Edge Doom Mode! I'm very pleased to have gotten it, and in a rather short amount of time, surprisingly enough (Thought it'd take a bit longer than that, but it didn't)! It includes a No Miss, No Bomb of all of stage 3, which I'm quite pleased to pull off in a full run! My own ALL! Clear also even surpass's Jaimer's score in his own ALL! Clear of Eden's Edge he did about 6 years ago! =D I stall out a few things in the game (For example, I do this a few times on stage 3), since it helps make things more manageable, to where otherwise, I'd probably be overwhelmed with barrages of fast bullets. So yeah, alright, Eden's Edge is my 1st x.x game I've 1cc'd in it's hardest difficulty!
