He began his career as a musician with his family - the Kriya Familia - when he was only eight years old. His father, who is Julio Pimentel, introduced this group as a professional musician, which consisted of his mother, four sisters and two brothers. As the youngest of this couple, Julinho learned a lot from his family. From an early age, Julinho appears to have the talent to entertain people. With his Kriya Familia he goes on tour in 1999 through the Netherlands. The great success is that the musical family will travel to the Netherlands again in 2001, but now to stay there. Julinho develops further in the percussion game on all kinds of instruments and discovers the circus world and the art of juggling. Julinho Pimentel has played with several famous international artists, gives solo performances in which he mixes percussion with juggling and body percussion.
