Tuna Canyon Road is one of Malibu’s most unforgettable motorcycle experiences — a 5.5-mile rollercoaster that goes from peaceful neighborhood riding to one of the most intense one-way descents in Southern California. This route begins where Fernwood Pacific Road leaves off, and from there it breaks into three distinct sections, each with its own personality: The Fernwood Pacific Continuation – Quiet, Residential, Warming You Up The ride starts mellow with a stretch lined with homes, tight driveways, and low speeds. It’s a good place to settle in, stay alert, and get ready for what’s coming. The Ridgeline – Narrow, Scenic, & Exposed Next, Tuna Canyon transitions into a razor-thin ridgeline road with epic ocean views. It’s beautiful, tight, and dramatic — a section where you’ll want to ride with precision and respect. The One-Way Plunge – No Guardrails, No Mercy The finale is what makes this road legendary. A steep one-way downhill packed with sharp turns, sketchy drop-offs, and very few, if any, guardrails. It’s both breathtaking and intimidating as you wind your way toward Pacific Coast Highway and the beach below. Near the bottom you’ll find two hairpin turns, and then a short distance on a relatively flat section that is almost always dirty due to the crumbling canyon walls above. If you’re scouting your next ride, Tuna Canyon is a must-see — but definitely not for beginners. Ride smart, ride slow, and enjoy the controlled chaos. 📍 Location: Malibu, California 📏 Distance: 5.5 miles ⤴️ Curves: 140 curves 🏍️ Difficulty: Intermediate to Advanced 🗺️ Map: https://www.google.com/maps/d/u/0/edi...
