In this video you will find one of the most powerful concepts for your spiritual growth and advancement: vertical vs horizontal growth. To book a 1-on-1 session, please contact me at deemgw14@gmail.com Here are the timestamps: Introduction: 00:00 2 sources of growth and the difference between them: 8:32 Horizontal growth is not "bad" 15:01 Exercise introduction: 22:36 Exercise: 23:23 Summary: 29:01 Horizontal growth is the growth within one level of consciousness. Vertical growth is the actual growth to the next level of consciousness, where the ambitions, ideas, values of previous level don’t work anymore or are not as interesting anymore. Ego vs soul decision: Only soul decisions will make you truly happy Ego decisions can be beneficial as well. When we were children, we had no or small ego, because we’ve been operating from a soul level. Nothing was too important, nothing had a "+" or "–" attached to it. You didn’t know how you “have to behave” You didn’t know these rules that are often positioned as “laws” by society. Note: horizontal growth is not always bad. In fact, it can actually be good. For some people, the best way is to develop horizontally. That will bring them most benefit. Some will benefit most from the vertical growth. Solution: Sit down and write different potential ways in which your life could develop and then just imagine all of these lives. The one that is the best for you personally will feel fantastic, or the best out of all the possible options. Choose the one that feels best. That’s your best path (whether it’s horizontal or vertical). Special thanks to Unsplash.com and its user Leslie Lopez Holder for providing the awesome photo.
