Free Spirits Presents: Professional Hugs & NA Cocktails (A look behind the scenes with the actors)

"Drinking non-alcoholic Tequila is like hiring a hooker for a hug." -Raccoon_Strangler69 Challenging this outdated take on both sex work and the non-alc beverage category, which is currently showing non-alc spirits & cocktails growing at more than 100% YoY, Free Spirits have collaborated with Burlesque Dancer and self-identified Sex Worker Steph Sugar (@steph_sugar) and Comedian and Writer, hailing from San Francisco’s Killing my Lobster improv troupe, Carla Lee, to create the campaign, which is an empathetic, comedic and tongue-in-cheek ‘clapback’ to the non-alc naysayers. In the video Dr Kimberly James (Carla Lee) teams up with Steph Sugar (playing herself) to explore the restorative benefits of the humble ‘hug’, demonstrating that, contrary to the sentiment of some on social media, both a hug, and a non alcoholic beverage can, and do, spark joy.
