#digitaltwins have long been spoken about as one of the key solutions arising from digitalisation, empowering their users with the information and insights they need to make more informed decisions. The Cyber Physical Infrastructure project - commissioned by the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero (DESNZ) - was tasked with augmenting the DESNZ (BEIS) Energy System Digital Twin Demonstrator with additional Bayesian network capability and enhanced graphics, to allow probabilistic outcomes to be generated, supporting decision makers in a more robust manner than previously possible. This video walk through, shows views from UK-wide through to local, including how you can determine the impacts of different investment levels in different technologies on achieving Net Zero ambitions.
