About Stories from the Woodshed: Our first season is inspired by Grimm’s fairy tales – remixed! Each week, we’ll feature a different story - sometimes a well-known favourite, sometimes an obscure tale, often from around the world, but always engaging and entrancing in its telling. The Brothers Grimm collected stories and created a canon of classic well-known fairy tales. This season illuminates how the stories they collected were fluid – how stories travel and take on different forms over time and are found in different storytelling traditions. Featuring storytellers including Nell Phoenix, Peter Chand, and Anna Conomos, Stories from the Woodshed is guaranteed to transport you not only into our theatre space, but also into a world of magical tales.
