Alright today, on this Mitsubishi Outlander, we are going to install part number 118518 from Tow Ready. First thing we need to do is open the back hatch and get access to the jack storage compartment. Let us remove the door to the compartment, and we will also have to remove this pocket right here. It will just pop out. So we will take the white end of our Tow Ready harness and plug it into that. Next, we are going to work with our ground wire. We will attach it to the sheet metal right here. Now we have got to install the modular for the wire harness that will plug into the gray connector that is on the Tow Ready harness. Snap it in place. It has got an adhesive back. We will go ahead and attach it to the sheet metal behind. It is safe and out of the way. 0:54 At this point, we can go ahead and reinstall the jack components and its panels. So when our wiring harness is not being used, it will stay inside the jack storage compartment. And when it is used, let us go ahead and pull it out. Go ahead and put the door back into place, and then you can go ahead and use the wiring for your trailer. 1:18 Alright, now, let us go to the front of the vehicle and install the power supply wire. To hook up our wires, the port is between the back of a headlamp and the battery. So we have to remove the battery to make our connection. Now our gray connector that we need to plug into is actually a little bit below the headlight, and it is kind of hard to see. But you can see it now, when you pull it out, and it is just a one-wire plug with a cap on it. We remove the cap, and I will plug in the wire harness. We will take the wire harness and our fuse is inside here, and we need to remove that first. And then we can route our wires the way we want them, right up to the positive side of the battery. And then we will go ahead and reinstall the battery. Go ahead and add our fuse, and we are finished. 2:11 All we got to do now is go ahead and test out our 4-pole with a light tester, and then you can try it out on a trailer. To use our wire harness, simply pull it out, and then shut the hatch on it. Just make sure you stay away from the latch, so it does not get pinched. Pull out what you need down to your trailer hitch. Then you can go ahead and plug your trailer to that. And with that, that finishes our install for part number 118518 from Tow Ready.
