How I make my bread and how I make money making my bread. Tried enter recipe. The original recipe was from the preppy kitchen and his two loaves recipe. I love to watch Little village Homestead and Little Hill Homestead. They do wonderful videos on making bread and other items. Why did I do this? Watch the intro which is half of the video but you can fast forward to the bread making if you would like. Just a little background on where I’ve been and what I’m doing now.  The recipe is one cup of warm milk, one cup of water in a mixer, 5 tablespoons of sugar, 4 1/2 teaspoons of yeast. Mixed with a whip and let sit for 5 to 8 minutes till it’s just a little foamy. This is for active dry yeast. Meanwhile, weigh out 806 g of bread flour or 6 cups. 2 1/2 teaspoons of salt, half of a stick soft butter and one egg. You can double the butter and double the egg and it makes a beautiful dough like my video but just add another half cup of flour. Add this to the yeast and liquid mixture and start mixing slowly. Let it combine then add the salt. Then the eggs. Let this go on low to medium low for about 10 minutes. Check your dough and see if it is nice and stretchy and doesn’t break apart. You almost can’t mix it too long. It likes to develop that gluten. Removed from bowl put in an oiled or sprayed bowl turn it over cover and let it rise for about 45 minutes. Removed from the bowl and either make your bread loaves or your cinnamon rolls or your dinner rolls. Out of this recipe, you can get two loaves of bread or you can get one bread and one dozen rolls or you can do cinnamon rolls. The combination is up to you, but it makes two. This is a double batch. You have your mixer and everything going you may as well double it. After it rises for a half an hour bake the bread for 35 minutes and the rolls for 23 to 25 minutes. I would use parchment on the bottom of the pans as the cooling breads can sweat. And your oven is at 350
