Beoir#2 Brewday

After the success of Beoir#1 we had a few breweries looking to do collaborations with us. Since Beoir represents the beer drinking public, it's beer brewed by the people, for the people. Trouble Brewing in Kildare kindly hosted us on January 10th where almost 30 members helped brew the beer. We went with an Imperial Red ale hopped with Waimea, Wakatu and dry hopped with the same and a little Mosaic. It should come out at about 7.5% ABV and be available in March. The beer is based upon a recipe by Beoir Chairman, Reuben Gray who brought along growlers of the two test batches. This 45 minute video shows the brewday for anyone that couldn't make it.
