SW Florida woke up to 67 degrees. The weather has been beautiful in SW Florida the past several days. Temperatures have been hitting the 80s by mid day. The snowbirds continue to leave and head to their other homes. Each week more and more leave. Hurricane season will be just around the corner and hoping that we get lucky this year. The ocean this morning was very wavy. I noticed that they had not changed out the flags yet as they were still green. Only a few on the beach as the wind was chilly and the waves were rough. But the ocean sounds great as you walk. The skies were very dark but no rain was expected in the area. It was very cool to look at. The last I heard on the parking on the island was that the commission is still holding meetings and now some businesses and residents are speaking out. Only time will tell what happens.
