Boca Grande, Florida - Frost and cold in SWFL

SW Florida woke up to a bitterly cold 36 degrees. Frost on roofs and cars. The past several days the temperature in the area has dropped. We are expected to have these cold temperatures for several more days. The beach was beautiful this morning but very very cold. The wind against your face was hard. A few other people ventured to the beach but that was it. The sun felt great when it was out. A few pelicans were around but not many. It was pretty wavy in the Gulf. What a way to end January in SW Florida. I know most of the country has had a lot of terrible weather this past weekend. I hope that wherever you are watching from that you are staying warm and enjoying the sights and sounds of the beach here in SW Florida.
