Traçando - Outlining the visual identity of Évora_27

Mirroring the identity of a place and synthesising the concept of VAGAR, Évora_27's visual identity was conceived from the outset as an evolving and participatory process, involving many people who contributed with images, words and perceptions of the territory and Alentejo culture. This is how "TRAÇANDO" ("Outlining the visual identity") was launched in 2021, a cycle of graphic design workshops designed to invite the community to take part in the construction of Évora_27's visual identity. In the mini-documentary "TRAÇANDO", designers Lizá Défossez Ramalho and Artur Rebelo, R2, who were responsible for creating Évora_27's recently awarded visual identity, describe, in words and images, a creative process that is as much authorial as it is animated by a collective spirit.
