Chief of Safety and Security Jimmy Williams oversees the program and shares, ‘Every one of our schools has armed Safe School Officers, and Superintendent Hanna has added a second deputy sheriff to every high school.’ Leon County Schools also operates a 24-hour security center, staffed every day of the year.
