As of the posting of this video it has been one year since Cody's passing. I knew right away that I wanted to build a box for his remains. I found the curly maple right away. However, the wood for the lid took me a long time to find. I was looking for the "right" piece. I originally was looking for a piece of walnut but finally settled on the wood used. And like the video says, I'm not real sure what kind of wood it is. Oh well, I'm sure someone will tell me. Cody was the best dog that "I" have ever had. He was so kind, gentle, quite(I never liked barking dogs), funny, liked beer;) and was great with our son Tucker. He didn't play fetch or liked to ride in vehicles. But the rest of him made up for those downsides. Cody, I got to spend around 14 years with you. Thank you. I will always miss you.
