Seeking God’s Ways with Our Whole Heart

Good Thursday morning everybody. We continue the devotional series "Preparing Your Heart for Lent and Easter with the Sermon on the Mount" by Purposely with “Seeking God’s Ways with Our Whole Heart." In this devotion we are reminded that we can focus on the things of God instead of desiring more things of this world because God's knows and provides for our needs. Scripture - Matthew 16:19-34 Meditation Scripture: “So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.” (Matthew 6:31-33) Meditations: Take some time in prayer with these verses, opening yourself to the Spirit. [1] What are you seeking in your life right now? [2] Where are you putting most of your energy? [3] Invite Jesus’ work on your heart, that you may seek Him first in all things. God Bless ...
