Footage of 2 of Ireland's RPSI preserved steam trains that run regulary during summer months. The first train is 0-6-0 No 186, the oldest train still running on the island (Built in 1879) crossing the Malahide estuary north of Dublin, A year ago (Aug 09) disaster was narrowly averted when the bridge collasped just after a train passed over it and another was stopped short of disaster by a brave driver. Reconstruction works can still be seen in place. The other train features 2-6-2t no4 (b 1948), which passes by at (3.15) another not so fortunate disaster viaduct, The 'Brandy Hole' south of Dublin on Wicklow's Brayhead, in 1867 the viaduct collasped into the sea, the resulting train crash lead to a loss of 2 lives and 23 injured, The line was subsequently diverted, the old route and the viaduct embankment can be seen behind the train as it goes between the two tunnels.
