In 1852, James H. Webb, a free African American Farmer, built this house for his family using recycle materials he found. Webb, his wife, their four children and his father all lived in this single one room log house which features an open fireplace and a loft access by a ladder. This house has been preserved and restored as it represent early 18th and 19th century homes of free and enslaved African Americans, and poor white families during that time. The house is part of the Harriet Tubman Underground Railroad Byway. This is one of twelve properties documented in partnership with Preservation Maryland. NCPTT scanned this building using a Faro Focus Laser Scanner to produce this video flythrough of the building's point cloud digital model. - - This video is in collaboration with Preservation Maryland.
