The main difference of Maffetone Method run training from other training plans is there is no strict run schedule to follow. To be successful, you only need to run 10 - 15 miles per week. For most runners, there is no need to change your run schedule, just do all your runs at or below your calculated maximum aerobic heart rate. This means you may not be able to run with your normal running group since you are probably going slower than normal. Also you may find any hill to be a challenge to keep your heart rate down and may be forced to walk.
