There are many areas in our body that we stash away tension in and these areas get piled up and affect our overall state. One of these sneaky hiding spots is our face! It’s so important to release this stored up tension, and it’s amazing to feel the difference, not only physically but also mentally and emotionally after doing these exercises! I want to share with you a few body tapping and face massage exercises that have helped me so much! I do these at the end of my asana practice, in bed while watching a movie, or in moments where I’m waiting in line or in a taxi. These exercises will help you to tap tension out of your body and to clear any residual stress that you might be holding consciously and subconsciously. This practice includes an opening guided meditation, followed by a tapping/self-massage practice, and ending with another short meditation. Go get it!
