Stratifying Bearberry Seeds & Small Seed Haul

I received my order from Incredible Seeds and wanted to show you what I purchased. One of the plants I plan to grow form this order is the Prairie native Bearberry (Arctostphylos uva-ursi). This plant is an evergreen ground cover. It grows in zones 2-7 and does well in full sun to part shade areas with dry, gravelly, slightly acidic soil. Like many prairie native plants it needs a little help through stratification to kick start it into sprouting. I will show you as I get this process started. I garden in zone 3 in Southern Saskatchewan, Canada. I grow vegetables and ornamentals in ground, in raised beds, and in containers. I try to garden in an ecologically sound way that promotes the healthy growth of pollinators, birds, and other creatures in my garden.
