Santa Claus Visits Patients and Families in the NICU at Bryan Health

Santa Claus made a special appearance to visit patients and families in the NICU at Bryan Health. Babies can be in the NICU for weeks or months as a time. Families often spend long periods apart, even during the Holidays. This is especially true during the COVID-19 pandemic as visitor restriction policies make it difficult to be with loved ones. Today, Santa Claus made his annual visit to spread cheer to our NICU families and staff. Santa visited over 20 of our tiniest patients this afternoon. The NICU at Bryan Health opened in 2008. It is a level III facility and led by a board-certified neonatologist and a highly trained, multidisciplinary team. Specialists from multiple departments, including nursing, radiology, respiratory therapy and anesthesia come together to care for our tiniest patients.
