INFORMATION 2011 film which follows the Astro95 Media team (formerly Max-Q Entertainment) as they go on site at Kennedy Space Center for NASASpaceflight.com and work to capture the final seven missions of the space shuttle in photos and HD video for the history books. TRIVIA Two Canon Vixia HF10 high definition cameras were used to film the documentary Filming began with STS-129 in November 2009 and continued through STS-135 in July 2011. Very few of the shots were planned in advance. Much of the film was cut together using footage that had been filmed on the fly during the events at KSC. All but one scene in the film was shot by the Max-Q team. The only shot used from NASA TV was a quick view of the press site before the launch of STS-132. A quick inset shot of Atlantis' liftoff is also used during Moeller's countdown interview. Though the fully-assembled documentary is roughly 3 GB in size, over 500 GB were shot during filming at various events. Produced from 2010 through 2011, this was Max-Q Entertainment's first feature-length production and documentary. Connect with us on social media!
