Popeye: the Slayer Man (2025) l Movie Recap Review and Explained At the beginning of the movie, we see a girl running into a locked haunted building where one of the pursuers doesn't want to enter because of the stories while another passes by and he follows him. Inside, they notice a strange man with huge arms while she is hiding and they search for her. It seems she has stolen the drugs from them. Suddenly, there’s a rattling on the floor, and one of them approaches who is badly wounded while Popeye appears, pressing down on another one who is dying. The girl is left alone, screaming and the movie begins. We meet Dexter and Lisa, who helps him gather materials for a documentary about the urban legend of a sailor man. Then Olivia approaches, who will assist him with this project, while Lisa says she has other plans for now and cannot join, as she goes to Seth who is waiting for her, and he will participate in this project. Then Margot, a real estate agent appears at this haunted place, meeting Mr. Allstar, expressing her desire to tear down the location for a new construction project to which he agrees. However, she wants to discuss a contamination report related to this place that he has concealed, and she is concerned about ghost stories, including the sailor man, which he assures her are just nonsense. She then smells pipe smoke which he goes to check, while she investigates around and hears some sounds that make her hide as someone approaches, and she pushes him away, causing her documents to fall. It's only the security guard, and she apologises before leaving, promising to sort out the papers later in his office. The boss wants the security guard to investigate the area to ensure no one is hiding nearby. The guard continues his work when something catches his attention, following a sound and smiling as he thinks he has found something. However, an unpleasant sight of dead bodies leads him into another room where he sees Popeye and he accepts a fight with heavy hands that mercilessly attack him, crushing his head.
