Dean Siedschlag and the Embry-Riddle Worldwide | College of Arts & Sciences are excited to welcome as our speaker: Seth Konadu Awuah TOPIC: Community Mobilization and Active Citizenship to Make the World a Better Place ABOUT THE SPEAKER: Seth Konadu Awuah is a Ghanaian Aviation Professional and Youth Activist whose innovativeness and creativity earned him an award in Ghana as the 2nd most promising Youth in Aviation And Tourism in 2019. With over a decade of experience in the Public Sector in Ghana, he helped champion a national agenda or discourse towards support for Ghanaian Youth interested in career opportunities in STEM especially the Aerospace and Industry through his initiative Young Aviators Ghana which has mentored over 30000 people mostly Students and Young Professionals since its inception in 2019. With his passion to make an impact in the world by making the world a better place, he has championed youth inclusive projects that have gained global prominence, earning him an invitation to participate in the Nobel Peace Prize Forum in December 2024 in Oslo, Norway. Currently he is a Professional Pilot and Aeronautical Engineering Student under the framework of the Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship by the Hungarian Government at the University of Nyiregyhaza which emboldens his lifelong interest, passion and dream to become an Airline Pilot. Growing up from a village in the Eastern part of his country, Ghana, discovering his lifelong passion and working hard to earn him a spot on the current road to achieving his dream, resilience and passion in helping make the world a better place is at the center of his heartbeat. He believes his career pathway as a future Airline Pilot and his experience in Public Service, Public Speaking, Diplomacy, along with his calm demeanor can help champion a world of nuclear safety, Peace, and Security. He serves as a founding Member of the Philanthropic Council of the Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University Worldwide | College of Arts & Sciences and European Representative for Inter Tourism Expo Accra. * * * * Join us and our esteemed guests once a month to discuss fresh perspectives on a broad range of topics from a variety of fields and sectors within the vision of achieving whole-community resilience -- locally, nationally, internationally, and globally.
